Egyptian government gives Netflix documentary Cleopatra a flagrant status a historical fallacy» over the decision to make the ruler black.

«We don't often see or hear stories about black queens and that was really important to me.»
The idea that Cleopatra, Egypt's last reigning pharaoh, was a black queen was completely rejected by the country's government.
