A British teenager is believed to have been killed in Thailand after riding a motorcycle with his girlfriend.
Woramet Ben Taota, a 16-year-old dual national, was found dead in the woods in his hometown in Lampang province in northern Thailand. , with head injuries.

Local police said they received word on Sunday morning that a teenager had been found dead in a grove in Ban Tang with blunt-force injuries.
Thai media reported that Woramet's body was found by a garbage collector who was working in the area at the time.

“At 10:15 a message was received at the station about a dead person found in the undergrowth,' said Police Colonel Sittisak Singtongla, Chief of Police Mae Tha.
“The investigative team went to the scene and found the victim with bloodstains all over his face.
“The face and head were hit with a solid object until swelling and bruising formed, there was also a deep wound on his face. The body was taken to the hospital for an autopsy.
“Currently, we are looking for people close to the victim, including his companion. She is a key figure in this case, as she is the last person to see him alive.”
The police said they did not rule out any motive for the murder.
