Gas stations will open at the places where Shell stations were previously located: the company left Russia in the spring of 2022.
The British-Dutch oil and gas company Shell last year stopped its activities in the Russian Federation, withdrew from joint projects and sold the local business. Now, a network of gas stations under the Teboil brand will appear at the site of their gas stations. The international brand Teboil has been on the fuel market for almost 90 years: it appeared back in 1934 in Finland.
< p>Petrol stations under the Teboil brand began their work on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2022. Over the next few years, Teboil Rus LLC is going to significantly expand its own and partner network of filling stations in various regions of the country. Thus, according to the plan, by 2025 the total number of gas stations will exceed 450 (of which about 150 stations will be actually new ones).
Teboil claims that “regardless of the operating model, each gas station of the company works according to high international quality standards. It is also reported that the company «values continuity», so that the former management team (formerly of Shell) continues to manage the gas station network in the Russian Federation.
The management staff is familiar with the industry and is tasked with maintaining the international standards of quality and high level of service that gas station users are already accustomed to. The fuel range at Teboil gas stations includes diesel, as well as motor gasoline of the AI-92, AI-95 brands and branded Teboil 95+ and Teboil 100+ fuels.
The quality of gasoline and diesel fuel is strictly controlled at all stages: from shipment at the refinery to storage in gas station tanks. The company regularly conducts product research in an independent certified laboratory (it operates in accordance with international standards and regulations).
Teboil filling stations in the Russian Federation are engaged not only in the retail trade of gasoline and diesel; for example, there are shops on the territory of the gas station (where, in particular, you can buy original auto chemicals, windshield washers and Teboil engine oils), as well as a cafe with a seating area, a toilet, free wi-fi and usb connectors for charging smartphones.
Recall that in May last year we reported that the Russian business of the British-Dutch company Shell Oil LLC was bought by the Lukoil oil and gas company. At the same time, Teboil belongs to PJSC Lukoil: the share capital of Teboil was bought back in 2005. According to the map on the official website, now Teboil gas stations are already open in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd and other major cities of the country.
