RTR Vehicles is an American tuning studio based in Concord, North Carolina, owned by renowned drift racer Vaughn Gittin Jr.,
Von Gittin Jr. started tuning Ford cars in 2007, balancing his entrepreneurial career with a fairly successful career in the series Formula Drift. In 2010, his company RTR Vehicles became an official partner of Ford, for RTR Vehicles customers this is a kind of guarantor of the high quality of work, some cars that have passed through the studio even retain the factory warranty.

Last fall, Ford introduced the new, seventh generation Mustang, it will appear at dealers next summer, and RTR Vehicles has already prepared an upgrade for it called RTR Spec 2. The package of improvements costs $ 12,495, it can be “screwed” to any the stock seventh-generation Mustang, up to the current top-of-the-line Dark Horse version, which is equipped with a 507-horsepower naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 and already in stock has a stiffer suspension than other versions, powerful Brembo front brakes and a developed aerodynamic plumage .

The RTR Spec 2 package makes the Mustang look more spectacular: a new grille with increased bandwidth and LED illumination of the side openings (this is a kind of RTR Vehicles calling card), a more developed front splitter, an optimized shape of the front bumper air ducts, new ventilation slots in the hood, a new rear spoiler, vinyl decor and 20″ RTR Wheels Aero 5 wheels wrapped in 275/35 R 20 Nitto NT555 G2 tires.
The lowered suspension is fitted with RTR Tactical Performance components, including adjustable dampers and adjustable anti-roll bars, designed to make the Mustang's handling on the racetrack sharper. However, for driving on normal roads, the suspension can be “dissolved” and get the desired balance of comfort and handling. The cabin gets new branded floor mats from RTR Vehicles, a new shift knob and a license plate on the front panel signed by Vaughn Gittin Jr.

Apart from the RTR Spec 2 package American in the future, the studio will offer other options for improving the new Mustang: we can expect a simpler and more affordable RTR Spec 1 package, as well as more extreme and, accordingly, more expensive programs, including pumping the engine and an even more aggressive aerodynamic body kit.
