The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has just celebrated five years since its debut in mid-May 2018 at an event. Since then, Rolls-Royce, which the brand prefers to call off-road instead of SUV, has not received any upgrade package like the Phantom did. Today, however, Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Cullinan Black Badge SUV in a limited edition Blue Shadow.
A total of 62 models are planned to be produced, emphasizing two of its most noticeable qualities: luxury and sportiness. The exterior was painted in a color specially developed for this particular occasion, dubbed «Stardust Blue», highlighting the satin black trim on the vertical grille and the same gray trim on the bumper air intakes. The famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine on the edge of the hood is made of 3D printed titanium and painted in blue.
The interior of the Cullinan Black Badge Blue Shadow also surprises with a new design. Black leather contrasts with blue accents on the door panels, which required six coats of paint to achieve the perfect transition. The seats, upholstered in perforated leather, offer a view of the planet Earth from space, in addition to the star-studded roof. Once again, the leather roof panel «Starlight Headliner» contains more stars than ever before, at least 1,183.
But the mechanical part of the Cullinan Black Badge is nothing new — under the hood is an impressive 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 with a maximum output of 600 hp .With. and 900 Nm, with which it is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
