Nicholls was absent from Radio 5 Live's coverage of the Monaco Grand Prix last weekend, and also deleted his social media accounts before it was known that an investigation has been carried out. his behavior.

One of the three allegations was reportedly a young employee who was in a relationship with Nicholls, which violated the rules of the all-electric series.

It appears that the BBC F1 team has been caught off guard by the allegations that have been made in Formula E. It is alleged that two of the complaints were made by bystanders and not by victims.

A BBC source said: «Jack has taken the decision not to comment on weekend», but he remains with the BBC as a freelancer. The corporation did not receive any complaints about his behavior, which arose when he was preparing to air on 5 Live last week.

Nicholls said in a statement: «Although disappointed with the decision, I respect it and understand why it was made. I want to take full responsibility for what I did and apologize unconditionally for a couple of separate incidents that made those involved feel uncomfortable.
