    Mysterious object found on Green Head Beach in Western Australia

    A mysterious top hat washed up on an Australian beach, leaving locals and police behind puzzled by its origin.

    An unidentified giant gold-colored metal object has been discovered by residents on Green Head Beach, about 250 kilometers (155 miles) north of Perth, Western Australia.

    It is reported to be about 2.5m wide and 2.5m to 3m long.

    Western Australia Police said analysis by the Fire and Emergency Department and Western Chemical Center reportedly , Australia considered the facility safe and did not pose a risk to the local population.

    The police said they would ensure the security of the object until it was removed.

    “This measure was taken to ensure the safety of possible evidence and facilitate further examination,” said representative of the Western Australian Police.
