The debut of a new SUV from Peugeot is approaching, and a couple of weeks ago the company released teasers of the model that allow you to see the main details of its appearance.
The Peugeot 3008 compact crossover was first introduced in September 2008 at the Paris Motor Show. Today, the second generation is on the conveyor, which premiered in 2016 at the same show, and four years later the model received a restyling. the time is right for a planned generational change, and the French company has repeatedly published various images of the car.

In the third generation, the 3008 will change dramatically in appearance, now it will be made in the so-called cross-coupe style with heavily littered rear pillars. By the way, last year the French demonstrated a similar model – the Peugeot 408 cross-liftback. The 3008 will differ from it in a higher body, as well as in the original design of the front end. Here, headlights of a simpler shape will appear, with three branded vertical strips of LED running lights. The sidewalls are also made a little simpler due to a smaller number of stampings, and the main one is strictly horizontal, passing just below the stepped window sill line. Behind the most characteristic element are the lights with three inclined segments of LEDs. In addition, the crossover will receive (at least as an option) rims with colored inserts.
Render of the new Peugeot 3008 < p> It is already known that the new 3008 will be the first production model of the Stellaantis corporation on the STLA Medium modular platform, announced in 2021 along with three other new platforms – STLA Small, STLA Large and STLA Frame. They were originally developed for electric vehicles, but the appearance of crossover versions with internal combustion engines is not excluded. By the way, the interior of the new SUV was declassified last month.
