This electric sedan, called the Mercedes-Benz Concept CLA-Class, is the pioneer of a new modular rear-wheel drive MMA platform, SPEEDME.RU journalists write.
The car is equipped with an 800-volt electrical system and demonstrates moderate power consumption, equal to 12 kW-hours for 100 kilometers, which provides a range of up to 750 kilometers. Both silicon and lithium-ion batteries will be available in the serial version.
Based on the available data, it can be assumed that the car's battery will have a capacity of 89.6 kilowatt-hours, and the car will receive a fast charge for 400 kilometers in just 15 minutes. The car will be equipped with a new generation power plant that combines an electric motor, a two-speed gearbox, inverters and electronics in a compact package. This module, weighing only 110 kilograms, will generate an impressive power of 235 horsepower.
The interior has also remained unchanged: the central place on the front panel is occupied by the Superscreen infotainment complex, air duct deflectors are decorated in style branded "turbines", and for work uses a promising operating system, built on the basis of liquid-cooled processor.
Conceptual electric sedan Mercedes-Benz also follows the principles of environmentally friendly materials in the interior, including recycled plastic and synthetic uses Nappa leather. These innovative vehicles should be on the European market by the end of 2024
