He tried in every possible way to hide the crime
After refusing sex, a man whom the unfortunate woman met on the Internet beat a 22-year-old girl to death with a baseball bat. The criminal tried in every possible way to cover his tracks. A day later he returned and burned the house, but detectives managed to establish the identity of the deceased, and then the identity of the killer.

As MK learned, a 43-year-old resident of the Skhodnya microdistrict of the Khimki urban district, Mikhail (all names have been changed), on June 8 met 22-year-old Muscovite Yulia on a dating site. The dialogue turned out to be fascinating, and the man managed to invite his young acquaintance on a date. Mikhail promised to pay for a taxi there and back and have fun.
The girl arrived the next day, and the gentleman paid the taxi driver. After chatting and drinking to get to know each other, the man invited his passion to go to an abandoned private house located nearby. Julia rejected her boyfriend's proposal, but the man was persistent and convinced his chosen one. Already in the house, Mikhail began to pester the girl, offering intimacy, but she categorically rejected the offer. The man’s attempts did not stop, and then Julia, in order to discourage the gentleman, resorted to the old tried and tested method — she accused him of sexual impotence. The girl's words hurt the man. Seeing a baseball bat lying in the house, he grabbed it and began hitting the victim. When Yulia lost consciousness, he strangled her.
Having calmed down a little, the killer decided to cover up the traces of the crime. He took Yulia’s documents and phone number and then fled the crime scene. He threw the stolen goods into the Moscow River, but something haunted him. A day later, the killer returned to finally, in his opinion, destroy all traces of his crime. Mikhail removed the clothes from the corpse, took them with him, and subsequently threw them away. He doused the house with gasoline and set it on fire.
Local residents called firefighters, who discovered a charred corpse. At that time, police were unable to identify the deceased. But, having studied the circle of people who had recently gone missing, the detectives learned the name of the murdered woman. The taxi driver who gave Yulia a lift and described the signs of the criminal, as well as the CCTV cameras that recorded Mikhail in the store a day before the murder, helped us get on the trail of the criminal. The killer was detained on June 16 at his place of residence, and under the weight of evidence he was forced to confess. Previously, the man was convicted of rape, but was released a year ago.
As reported by Anna Tertichnaya, assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, a criminal case has been opened upon the discovery of the girl’s corpse under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”) .
