MOSCOW, November 23 Choreographer Alexey Zheleznyakov said he left group of figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze due to lack of time and periodic absences from classes due to trips to training camps and master classes.
On Sunday, a source announced Zheleznyakov’s departure from the Khrustalny department.
“»What I wanted to say about leaving the Khrustalny team, especially to those critics and those who like to write their own versions. Yes, I left and did not go anywhere, I have a lot of work, many students and two branches of sports and dance studios. Yes, indeed, sometimes there is simply not enough time physically. Due to my trips to training camps or master classes, I periodically had to miss classes, but all this was done exclusively with the permission of Eteri Georgievna,” Zheleznyakov wrote on his page on VKontakte.
«And I ask you to calm down and not water either side or the other, sometimes the time comes when the roads diverge and everyone chooses their own path. I am very grateful to the team, starting with the head coach Eteri Georgievna and ending with the technical staff of Khrustalny, I grew up in this school, became successful and learned a lot, who knows, maybe I wouldn’t have made it if fate had not brought me together with this essentially unique team. Yes, of course, it was a shame that they took someone else in your place specialist, but everything was leading to this and now it has come,” he noted.
Zheleznyakov collaborated with Tutberidze throughout his career in Russia. The specialist practiced dance exercises with all of her award-winning students, including Evgenia Medvedeva, Alina Zagitova, Anna Shcherbakova, Alexandra Trusova, Kamila Valieva.
