Explosions occurred in Kiev, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Ukrainian Telegram channels.
“Explosions are heard in Kiev,” the message says.
Explosions were previously reported in the city of Kropyvnytskyi (formerly Kirovograd), as well as in the controlled to the Ukrainian authorities in the city of Zaporozhye.
The Russian army began striking the infrastructure of Ukraine on October 10, in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. Jack Watling, a researcher at the British Royal United Defense Studies Institute (RUSI), said that attacks on critical infrastructure will make winter very difficult for Ukraine. Watling called on Ukraine to “prepare for a difficult winter.”
