MOSCOW, September 18, Roman Kharrasov. The STS TV channel airs the series “Daddy's Daughters. New” – a continuation of the popular sitcom of the 2000s. The main characters are the Vasiliev family. Venik and Dasha lived together for 15 years, they have four daughters. But the mother leaves her husband and children, and the story with the single father repeats itself. Philip Bledny returned to this role and played the head of the family. The actor spoke about the filming of the project and his personal life in an interview. 
< strong>— Why did you decide to return to the “Daddy’s Daughters” project?
— The story has become different. Although someone might say that everything is similar: Venik took responsibility for four children, just as Sergei Vasnetsov once took responsibility for five daughters. But the heroes are new, although the beloved ones will remain. Little stars will light up and shine.
And to play the father of four children — I’ve always dreamed about this.
— What’s the new series about?
— “Daddy’s Daughters” has always been about family, friendship and mutual assistance.

— Such projects also reflect current problems. In the new series, what questions are raised, in addition to the eternal one – fathers and sons?
– One of my daughters, for example, protects nature. The other is immersed in the problem of gender relations. Another one is trying to develop as a businessman and is looking for right and wrong ways to make money (laughs).
— Yes Is there anything that you took from your father for the role of the matured Venik?
— Endless love for children. He never got tired and never said: “Leave me alone, I’m busy.”
I remember how dad, after a performance late in the winter in the evening, when the buses no longer ran, carried me in a fur coat in his arms and sang some songs to lull me to sleep. And his mother walked with him by the hand.
Male strength is important for a child. If you know that dad will protect you, you are not afraid of anything.
— Aren’t you afraid of comparisons with Andrei Leonov and your hero with his?
— No. We are completely different. His “dad” is a nervous psychologist, and mine is a smart, thoughtful physicist. But in his youth he was also an unbalanced boy.
— Did Leonov give you any advice?
— No. We didn’t talk about this topic, because I have a completely different view of this role.
— The trend in recent years in cinema and music is nostalgia, so producers are relaunching once beloved and popular projects. Why do you think Russians are sad about the past?
– I don’t agree that this is sadness. It’s just love for what was.
The reboot of “Daddy’s Daughters” is not a game of nostalgia, the task was to take the best and brightest of what was, and what may be missing now. Warm, lamp-like – like a floor lamp.

Today there are many projects that talk about lust rather than love; about betrayal, not about friendship.
— The minimum task of the series is to get the same ratings as the original source. Do you think it will succeed?
—Perhaps the producers put forward similar criteria. Actors – no, for us this is a third matter.
— Above What projects are you currently working on? What will we see on the screen soon?
— A new season of the series “Two Hills” has been released. This is a different story from “Daddy’s Daughters”: a different future, strange, but very funny.
In the summer I starred in Vladimir Kott’s film “Both Two” with Kristina Asmus. He played the husband of the heroine Christina. This is a drama about family, children and love.
There will also be a film “The Artist” by Dmitry Gribanov. There I am in the role of the son of the character Yuri Stoyanov.
— What can you say in general about modern Russian cinema?
— In TV series, Russia holds a very high bar: and in screenwriting and cinematography. Sometimes you look until Russian inscriptions or actors appear, and you think: this is some kind of British or Hollywood movie. And then you realize: no, these beautiful shots were taken by us.
There are a lot of talented people in the country, and we can make high-quality products that are valued all over the world.
— What do you, as a viewer, lack, and what , on the contrary, a lot?
— Freedom has appeared, and there is practically no censorship on platforms: there is a lot of dubious content in the product.
I’m not a prude, but I would like to protect children from such things. Because they must understand: what they release is not always good. You need to draw your own conclusions and not take your word for it.
—You are not a frequent hero of gossip columns. It is obvious that you are unwilling to give such informational information. Is it easy to hide your personal life?
—I protect this part of my life very much. I don’t post videos and photos even of friends. Excessive unkind attention is very difficult.
— How do you spend your free time, which is certainly not enough?
— I like to watch movies and TV series. Meet with friends, eat, walk, ride a scooter. In this sense, I am an absolutely simple person.
