MOSCOW, December 28 Farewell to the honored artist, screenwriter Yuri Arabov will take place on December 30 at the Troekurovskoye cemetery, the press service of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation reported.
Russian writer and screenwriter, honored artist Yuri Arabov died on Wednesday at the age of 70.
«The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 30 at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Trinity of the Life-Giving in Khokhly (Khokhlovsky Lane, 14, building 5). The funeral at Troekurovsky Cemetery at 2 p.m.,» said the agency's interlocutor.
Arabov wrote the script for more than 30 films, including “St. George’s Day” by Kirill Serebrennikov, “Faust” and “Moloch” by Alexander Sokurov, and the series “Doctor Zhivago” directed by Alexander Proshkin.
