In the Saratov region, a man on a snowmobile fell through under the ice on the Volga. He was able to get out, said the head of the life safety department of the regional government, Yuri Yurin.

“Today, in the Krasnoarmeysky district on the Volga River, a snowmobile on which a man was traveling fell through the ice. Fortunately, he was able to get out of the ice hole on his own.” , he wrote in his telegram channel.

He emphasized that due to positive temperatures in the region, the ice is very thin and dangerous. You should not move on it on snowmobiles, motorized towing vehicles and similar vehicles.

According to Yurin, you should move on the ice on airboats, airboats and hovercraft. At the same time, he recalled that in the region there is now a ban on going out and going on the ice.
