Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich (included in Russia on the list of terrorists and extremists and put on the wanted list) said on the YouTube channel “Alpha and Omega” that with Russia can begin negotiations without Ukraine entering the 1991 borders.
“We, of course, will not return the territories of 1991 in this round, most likely,” Arestovich said.
At the same time, he explained that Ukraine would not admit its defeat.
International diplomats see a way out of the situation in a scheme for holding negotiations on pan-European and world security. As part of these agreements, the issue of suspending hostilities in Ukraine will also be resolved.
Arestovich added that these negotiations “will not be on the terms of our defeat.”
