St. PETERSBURG, January 4, Dmitry Edigarev. World Hockey Champion Maxim Sushinsky said in an interview that the atmosphere in St. Petersburg in the early 90s was filled with events reflected in the series “The Boy’s Word.”
«»The atmosphere of St. Petersburg was similar to what was shown in the TV series «The Boy's Word». They fought yard to yard, there were different groups. I never went there. I somehow got it while leaving training. Classes ended late, and there was a group near the station. I had to get out of the metro and change to a trolleybus, they asked me for money. The first time I completely defended myself. They realized that there was nothing to take from me. But the next time they shook my hand, realizing that I was not you have to touch it. Of course, I was afraid, because before they could kill you for ten kopecks. Life was worth nothing,” said Sushinsky.
Sushinsky is a graduate of SKA. He played for the St. Petersburg club from 1990 to 1996, and then from 2006 to 2011.
