    Tsereteli explained how he deals with criticism

    MOSCOW, January 4 People's Artist of the USSR, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, monumental sculptor Zurab Tsereteli told in an interview how refers to criticism, noting that it is inevitable for every artist.
    “There is always criticism, not a single artist has escaped it… The most important thing is when you are confident in your knowledge, professional attitude to your work, you know what you are doing and why,” Tsereteli noted.
    He is sure that criticism can be useful, they hear it from their loved ones, professional colleagues and listen to it.

    “And there is unprofessional talk, envy, ignorance, you should not react to this at all,” Tsereteli concluded.

    Zurab Tsereteli – Georgian and Russian muralist, sculptor, painter and teacher, corresponding member, full member of the USSR Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR and Russia, People's Artist of the Georgian SSR, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, since 1997 – President of the Russian Academy of Arts. He is the founder and director of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, founder of the Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery.
