MOSCOW, January 4 In the coming years, new artificial intelligence technologies will lead to the fact that students writing final qualifying papers will lose their meaning, and certification will return to the format of an oral response, the head said educational committee of the Russian Orthodox Church, rector of the All-Church Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies (OCAD) named after Saints Cyril and Methodius, Archpriest Maxim Kozlov.
«New technologies require a deep church response. The same artificial intelligence will assume that in the coming years we will have to change the nature of the final certification, because writing final student papers will lose its meaning. We will return to the format of an oral response,» says the archpriest.
This, the clergyman believes, may force a person to become human again.
«In a way, this is good: a person will be forced to be a person, and not an application to a computer,» he said.
