MOSCOW, January 7. Honored Artist of Russia, film director Oleg Ryabokon, died in St. Petersburg at the age of 85, the portal 78.ru reported.
The cause of his death is not specified.
Ryabokon was born in 1939. In 1972 he graduated from the acting and directing department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography.
His most famous work is the film “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves”, where the main roles were played by Oleg Tabakov and Tatyana Nikitina , Veniamin Smekhov and Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. His other films include “Beautiful Elena” and “One for All!”.
