BELGOROD, January 10 Thirteen people who were injured as a result of shelling of the Belgorod region from Ukraine since December 29 have been discharged from hospitals, the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in Telegram -channel.
Earlier, the head of the region informed that there are 68 wounded in local hospitals and in federal centers, and another 12 people are in intensive care units in Moscow.
“Yesterday, 13 people were discharged from healthcare institutions. Those who were injured since December 29. Now there are 58 people in medical institutions in Moscow and Belgorod,” Gladkov wrote.
Three people were injured during the shelling of Belgorod on January 8, they were operated on. The governor has now said that all of them “are still in intensive care — in serious but stable condition.”
On December 30, Gladkov reported that the Ukrainian military had shelled the center of Belgorod. It was reported that there were 25 dead, including five children, and 109 injured. Since then, the city and other areas of the region have been subjected to major shelling several times. In particular, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on January 8, at about 21.30 Moscow time, the air defense system shot down 10 Ukrainian RM-70 Vampire MLRS missiles over the Belgorod region. Gladkov informed that three people were injured during the shelling.
