On the night of January 14th in In Kazakhstan, 230 kilometers from Almaty, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred. This was reported by the Seismological Experimental Methodological Expedition (SOME) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.
It is noted that residents of the city of Tekeli in the Zhetysu region felt tremors with a force of three points.
“The epicenter of the earthquake is located in 230 kilometers northeast of Almaty on the territory of Kazakhstan,” the message says.
The outbreak lay at a depth of 15 kilometers. No casualties or damage were reported.
