YEKATERINBURG, January 15 Engine defects were found on a Ural Airlines plane that twice attempted to fly from Yekaterinburg to Sochi, the detected defect will be corrected, they reported at the carrier's press service.
According to the agency’s interlocutor, the same plane was suspended from flights on Sunday and Monday, and passengers were sent to Sochi on reserve boards.
«In this case, there are comments on the engine fuel system. Based on the results of decoding, a defect was identified today in the same system, which manifested itself differently. The detected malfunction is currently in the process of being eliminated,» she said.
The press service clarified that the fuel control equipment will be replaced.
In turn, the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office told reporters that in response to these incidents, an inspection of the implementation of flight safety legislation has been organized.
