    The wife of former Russian tennis player Mikhail Youzhny, Yulia, died in Dubai . This became known based on the words of The New York Times (NYT) and ESPN journalist Cindy Schmerler on her social networks.

    According to Schmerler, the athlete’s wife died due to a long illness.

    This information was later confirmed by Yuzhny himself in a conversation with MATCH TV.

    The couple got married in 2008. The couple have three children: daughter Milana and two sons — Maxim and Igor.

    Yuzhny finished his sports career in 2018. He won the Davis Cup twice, taking part in the competition as part of the Russian team. In addition, he won 19 times at ATP tournaments.
