MOSCOW, January 19 Two fans of Madonna, Michael Fallows and Jonathan Hadden, filed a lawsuit against the singer for starting her concert in New York at the wrong time, ABC News reports.
Fallows and Hadden purchased tickets to the superstar's Celebration tour on December 13th. They indicated that the show would start at 8:30 p.m., but Madonna took the stage only after 10:45 p.m. and left only at one in the morning.
Public transport no longer worked, fans had to take a taxi. They also felt bad because they slept little and got up early for work the next day.
According to Fallows and Hadden, the singer acted “frivolously.” She promised the audience to start the concert at 20:30, knowing in advance that it would not start on time.
The plaintiffs do not rule out a class action lawsuit if more viewers join them. According to the publication, Madonna's other tours were also delayed.
How Madonna should compensate fans for damages is not stated in the lawsuit.
The pop diva has already faced similar situations in 2019 and 2020 during the Madame X tour. Then one of the claims was withdrawn, and the second was resolved out of court.
