MOSCOW, January 23 The head of the religious group «Morozov-Zlatoust Brotherhood» Alexander Morozov intends to sue the singer Yegor Creed (real name — Yegor Bulatkin) for 15 million rubles in compensation for moral damage from obscene language in interviews and songs of the rap artist.
The Kuntsevsky Court of Moscow began to reconsider the claim. The document is available.
“
“The Kuntsevo Court of Moscow accepted for consideration the claim against Yegor Bulatkin, Google LLC and Genius Holdings LLC, which are also listed as defendants in the case,” commented Morozov.
The Orthodox activist expects to receive compensation for moral damages from obscene words that the artist uttered in one of the interviews, videos on YouTube, as well as in the song “Pussy Boy.” Morozov undertakes to donate the money for charitable purposes.
The claim in court is considered on the second attempt. Last year, the court left the lawsuit without progress, since Morozov, as the court considered, “did not eliminate the shortcomings within the deadline.”
Morozov appealed the decision to the Moscow City Court and won. The Kuntsevo court's ruling was overturned and the claim was returned for consideration.
The hearing on the claim is scheduled for February 19.
Egor Creed has not yet commented on the situation.
