— Apparently, the plane was landing. It can be seen that the transport worker was flying with a large left bank before the fall, says Vladimir Salnikov. — The plane falls on the wing and lowers its nose, as if falling into a tailspin. This happens when one or two engines fail on the left wing plane.

In general, during landing, the flaps are extended to the maximum, 45 degrees. In this position, you can enter the lane at a lower speed, and the mileage will be shorter. If you are landing with a failed engine or two, then the flaps are extended not to 45 degrees but to 30 degrees, so that you can go around if necessary.

The thrust of three working engines may not be enough, since a large turning moment towards the failed engine.

At the same time, the pilots could extinguish the fire by turning off the fuel supply. The engines did not work, and the plane began to roll. It is possible that the wing was also damaged.
