    Ukrainian singer Yuri Bardash received Russian citizenship

    MOSCOW, January 23 Ukrainian producer, choreographer and singer, founder of the groups “Mushrooms” and Quest Pistols Yuri Bardash announced in his Telegram channel that he has received Russian citizenship.
    The performer posted a photograph in which he holds a Russian passport against the background of the flag of our country. Bardash also added a caption to the photo in the form of a line from a poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky.
    In a conversation with Paragraph, the musician admitted that, having lived in Moscow for two years, he was happy to receive a passport as a citizen of the Russian Federation.

    "During the reading of the oath, the anthem was played, which was especially special for me It’s nice, because I was born in the Soviet Union, which was succeeded by Russia,” Bardash shared.

    The producer clarified that the document was presented to him in Lugansk.

    Yuri Bardash found the start of the special operation while on vacation in Sri Lanka, but did not return to Ukraine.
    He openly supported the SVO, moved to Russia and criticized the artists who opposed the special operation.
