MOSCOW, January 25 The court accepted for consideration the claim of People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov against singer Lyubov Uspenskaya for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation for 12 million rubles, said lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky.
Kirkorov filed the lawsuit on December 13, but the case was accepted for consideration only now.
“ “For everyone who was worried that Philip Kirkorov’s lawsuit against Lyubov Uspenskaya was left without progress before the new year, I inform you: the lawsuit was accepted by the Zamoskvoretsky court.” , — commented Dobrovinsky.
The lawyer clarified that the first conversation is scheduled for March 11. The website of the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow indicates that the start of the hearing in the case is at 14:30.
“»In the lawsuit, we ask the court to oblige Lyuba Uspenskaya to refute all the words with which she tried to discredit the honor and dignity of my client, as well as to collect moral compensation in the amount of 10 million rubles, plus payment of expenses incurred, which amount to another 2 million rubles,” recalled Alexander Dobrovinsky.
Philip Kirkorov was offended by Lyubov Uspenskaya for an interview with blogger Alena Zhigalova, in which the singer was called a “misogynist.”
The lawsuit includes Zen.Platform and VKontakte, on whose resources the interview was posted.
