In 2023, more than 1.3 thousand healthcare workers took advantage of mortgages for doctors, said Alexey Kosyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank. The volume of lending amounted to about 6.5 billion rubles. — 20% more than in 2022.
“A special program on preferential terms was introduced in the spring of 2020, when it was especially important to support doctors and healthcare workers in the fight against the pandemic. Since its launch, the living conditions of about 5 thousand families have been improved, loans worth 17.5 billion rubles have been issued,” noted Alexey Kosyakov.
Most often, doctors and health workers living and working in Moscow (1.6 billion rubles), Primorsky Krai (about 1 billion rubles), Moscow region (about 800 million rubles), Tyumen region (370 million rubles) and St. Petersburg (370 million rub.).
The top ten regions also included the Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk territories, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, and Sverdlovsk regions. The greatest growth compared to the previous year was shown by the Nizhny Novgorod region (2.7 times), Primorsky (2.5 times) and Krasnoyarsk (1.5 times) territories, Samara and Tyumen regions (1.4 times), Moscow (1.3 times).
The main volume of transactions in 2023 fell on apartments — 90%, about 8% — on the construction and purchase of private individual houses, another 1% each apartments and parking spaces. In 77%, funds were provided for the purchase of housing under construction, in the rest — for finished real estate.
