Teenagers who burned their grandmother were arrested in Moscow

The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow chose a preventive measure for three teenagers who burned a 73-year-old pensioner in Stupino. Two were arrested, another was given house arrest, the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction reported.

The crime was committed on the night of January 22. Three teenagers aged 16-18 threw a Molotov cocktail into the house of a pensioner. A fire started and the woman died.

The oldest suspect said that the arson was ordered, allegedly they were promised to pay 100 thousand rubles for it. The guy also fired a flare gun into the house so that the cocktail would definitely “work.”

As a result, two of the arsonists were arrested before March 23 and 24, and the court sent the third under house arrest until March 23.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Intentional destruction or damage to property resulting in the death of a person through negligence).
