MOSCOW, January 27 Theater and film actress Vera Molchanova died at the age of 81, the Pokrovka Theater reported.
“In memory of Vera Molchanova <…> She was one of the first whom S. N. Artsibashev invited to his troupe, one of the most faithful and devoted actresses to Pokrovka. Her sweet, kind and very reliable heroines will forever remain in the hearts of colleagues and fans of the theater,” says a message on the theater’s website.
It is noted that Molchanova has served at the Pokrovka Theater since 1991.
“The staff of the Pokrovka Theater expresses condolences to the family and friends of Vera Vasilievna,” the theater added.
It is specified that the date and place of farewell will be announced additionally.
Vera Molchanova is a theater and film actress. Born on January 25, 1943 in the Tula region. She is known for her roles in the TV series “Next”, “Closed School” and others.
