Bloomberg, citing a source familiar with the position of representatives of the United States of America, reported that Washington is considering the possibility of conducting a secret operation against Iran.

< p>It is clarified that the United States began to consider this possibility after three American military personnel were killed in an attack on an American military base located in northern Jordan.

“The American military may conduct a secret operation in which they will strike Iran, but will not take responsibility for it. Thus, the United States will send the clearest signal,” the agency notes.

Bloomberg added that a direct response from the United States through attacks on Iranian officials is also possible. As an example, the agency cited the attack on Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in 2020 in Baghdad.
