As a result, they became trapped when the ice cracked near the shore and the vehicle fell on its side.

The happy circumstance was that at the time of the incident, inspectors from the “Reserve Baikal Region” were passing by. They quickly came to the rescue and helped the tourists get out of the ice trap. The travelers were not seriously injured, but were a little wet and cold.
