DONETSK, February 1 An explosive object hit the bus as a result of shelling of Gorlovka by Ukrainian troops, one person was wounded, the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko said.
«An explosive object hit the bus of the second route. Stop «Builder». One person was injured. The ammunition did not explode,» says a message published on the mayor's Telegram channel.
The DPR representative in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian troops were conducting massive shelling of Gorlovka on Thursday, firing at least 27 shells of «NATO» caliber in the city.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
