The Mash Telegram channel published video footage from the scene of an emergency at the Saransk airport, where a passenger airliner rolled off the runway.

Recall, Superjet airline «Russia» landed in Saransk at 20:30 Moscow time, after which on the runway at the end of the run the plane turned 5-7 meters to the right and crashed into the snow. To install a ramp and let passengers out of the plane, the airport staff had to dig a road in a snowdrift.

There were 87 passengers on board the plane, including Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova and Russian figure skaters who flew to Saransk for the Russian Championship among juniors in figure skating.

«Beauty! Good weather, we flew into a snowdrift,» the channel quotes the author of the video from the scene of the emergency.
