BLAGOVESCHENSK, February 16 A child who was injured on February 3 during a fire in an apartment in Blagoveshchensk died in hospital, a criminal case was opened against the child’s 24-year-old mother about causing death by negligence, reports the SUSC of the Amur region.
Previously, a criminal case was opened against this woman for leaving a child in danger.
According to investigators, the mother left her 3-year-old son alone in the apartment and closed the front door. After some time there was a fire there. Emergency Situations Ministry employees found the child in a burning room behind the sofa. The boy was taken to hospital with severe burns. “A boy with severe burns to his body, removed by firefighters from a burning building, was taken to the hospital, where, despite the efforts of doctors, he died on February 15.
