ST. PETERSBURG, February 20 Alabai killed his owner in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region, a criminal case was opened under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Causing death by negligence”, reports the press service of the Investigative Directorate for the region on the Telegram channel.
The body of a 66-year-old woman was found at night on the territory of a private house in the village of Nazia, Kirovsky district, “with multiple lacerations and bite wounds.”
“According to preliminary data, the victim's injuries were caused by an Alabai dog, which independently got out of the enclosure and attacked its owner,” the release says.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated for causing death by negligence. Investigators are checking various versions of the incident and questioning witnesses. Expertise has been appointed.
