Meanwhile, Russian researchers from the Institute of Biochemical Physics named after N.M. Emanuel RAS, Institute of Biochemistry A.N. Bach RAS and Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov developed a rapid analysis of four cardiac biomarkers in blood plasma. These are C-reactive protein, cystatin C, myoglobin and D-dimer. When determined simultaneously, these cardiac markers reflect the inflammatory or thromboembolic status of the patient. The method proposed by scientists allows them to be quantified in less than 15 minutes.
