SARATOV, February 26 Investigators are checking information about a man who fell into a hole dug by utility workers in Penza at night, the regional department of the Investigative Committee reported RF in the Telegram channel.
«In Penza, an inspection was organized based on information disseminated in the media about a man falling into a pit… It was established that in connection with the elimination of a utility accident near one of the houses on Suvorov Street in the city of Penza «a hole was dug into which a 35-year-old man fell on the night of February 23, 2024. The victim was hospitalized and received the necessary qualified assistance. There is no threat to his life and health,» the report says.
The procedural check is carried out on the grounds of a crime provided for in Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Performing work that does not meet safety requirements,” the Investigative Committee clarified.
«Currently, the consequences of the utility accident have been eliminated, the hole has been filled in,» the department added.
