In London, a two-year-old child died due to bleeding of the esophagus, which damaged a toy plastic eye 14 months ago. This was reported by the Mirror.

As it became known, more than a year ago the baby ate a foreign substance, which remained in the body. It subsequently caused serious complications. The results of the medical examination showed that death was caused by heavy bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract and hemorrhagic shock.

In addition, doctors carefully diagnosed the child with a rupture of the esophagus, and found a foreign body in the gastrointestinal tract.

The case is currently being investigated by law enforcement agencies. The parents turned to doctors for help several times, but to no avail. The child had a chest x-ray and stomach x-ray for a year, but nothing was found.
