Gazprombank has opened a specialized Center for Banking Contract Support in Voronezh, which will focus on supporting investment projects in the Central Federal District. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh Region Konstantin Kuznetsov and representatives of the largest companies in the region.
The office in Voronezh became the seventh regional center with a focus on banking contract support. Profile centers are already operating in key cities of the federal districts: St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar and Ufa. The key task of the new center in the Central Federal District is to ensure a high level of transparency in the implementation of investment projects and increase efficiency in working with counterparties.
Banking support ensures control over the intended use of funds, transparency of calculations and bringing funds to the final contractor, and also allows, if necessary, to optimize advance policy and pricing. A high level of automation allows you to have a flexible approach to each project and customize the reporting system to suit the customer’s request.
“Today we have expanded our territorial presence in the Central Federal District. The division in Voronezh will provide support to the most populous district in the country with a large number of socially significant initiatives. The current pool of contracts in the Central Federal District allows us to say that the new center will be in demand both among government customers and the business community. Now our specialized centers cover all federal districts, which allows us to strengthen support for investment projects anywhere in the country,” said First Vice President of the Bank Oleg Melnikov.
“The opening of the center will allow us to expand the capabilities of our region in terms of using tools for banking contract support. This is a modern mechanism that provides a systematic approach to control over budget funds, as well as monitoring of all processes. Another promising area of cooperation, in our opinion, could be the bank’s participation in the integrated development program for territories,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh Region Konstantin Kuznetsov.
Gazprombank has been developing a mechanism for banking contract support for ten years. In 2024, the portfolio of contracts for banking support reached 18 trillion rubles.
The center in Voronezh will be responsible for supporting projects in 16 constituent entities of the Russian Federation: Voronezh, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov , Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions.
