Roscosmos emphasized that the crew and the station will not suffer anything due to the leak threatens.
«As previously reported, the obsolescence of the station design and the ever-increasing need for repair and restoration work on board take up a significant amount of crew time,” the state corporation added.< br />
In 2019, an air leak was recorded on the ISS. As the cosmonauts managed to find out, she was in the intermediate chamber of the Russian Zvezda module. A crack several centimeters long was subsequently discovered there. It was taped several times. Later it became known about a second crack, and then three more places of possible leakage. The astronauts sealed them.
After this, no new sources of leakage were officially reported in the hull of the International Space Station or their elimination.
