MOSCOW, March 5Russian business is adapting to the changed labor market in the country; it is not only looking for new forms of interaction with employees, but is also actively working with representatives of all age groups, said international expert in the field of personnel management, founder and head of WOW GROUP Gohar Ananyan.
«The volume of the labor market has sharply decreased in the country as a result of the demographic situation. In connection with this, businesses are faced with two tasks. Firstly, to come up with new forms of interaction with their employees in order to retain them. Secondly, to look for people outside the market,” she said on the sidelines of the round table “Challenges and trends of the labor market for business and HR in 2024.”
According to her, it is possible to reduce staff turnover and retain employees by “qualitatively improving the corporate culture.” In this case, the expert noted, we are talking about relationships within the team, various social activities, involvement, support for people when they feel comfortable, when they want to return to their workplace.
As for finding people outside the market, according to the agency’s interlocutor, “the business actively works not only with those who have reached pre-retirement and retirement age, which was not the case until recently, but also works even with children’s gardens.»
«Companies that plan personnel for the next 10-20 years invest money in communicating with the younger generation, orienting them according to professions. After all, the problem is that the guys are growing up and they don’t have an understanding of what professions are in demand,” the expert concluded.
