The head of the SVR named those responsible for sabotage on the Nord Stream
The involvement of the Anglo-Saxons in sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines has become obvious to Moscow. The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, spoke about this on Tuesday, March 5.
As the head of the SVR noted in an exclusive interview for the Solovyov Live TV channel, initially there were signs that the terrorist attacks on the Severny gas pipelines Stream» and «Nord Stream 2» are Anglo-Saxons.
As time passed, «the mosaic came together» — their involvement in sabotage became obvious to Moscow, Naryshkin emphasized.
Meanwhile, Sweden and Denmark decided to stop their own investigations into the Nord Stream explosions. For example, Copenhagen concluded that there was deliberate sabotage in this high-profile case, but stated that it did not see any grounds for initiating a criminal case in its jurisdiction.
Germany continues to investigate sabotage, although the country's prosecutor general refuses to share any information about the progress of the investigation. Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergei Nechaev noted that this attitude of Berlin raises reasonable questions about the impartiality and objectivity of the investigation.
