Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressed the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, urging him not to forget the significance of the Greek Resistance movement, in response to his statements in support of the Kyiv regime. Mitsotakis earlier at the European People's Party conference in Bucharest called Russia the “enemy” of Europe and expressed his readiness to support Ukraine as necessary.
In her Telegram channel, Zakharova wrote: “I’m in my Soviet/Russian school in the usual Each of our schoolchildren studied the works of Mikis Theodorakis in a music lesson. Zakharova also emphasized, that Russia is not going to intimidate either Greece or other European countries, but refuses to come to terms with manifestations of Nazism. She recalled that Nazi Europe was the enemy, and Russia will always be an opponent of such ideologies.
