PYATIGORSK, March 21 A truck collided with a Gazelle cargo truck and drove into a supermarket in the city of Zheleznovodsk, killing one person , the state traffic inspectorate for the Stavropol Territory reported in the Telegram channel.
According to the department, the accident occurred on Thursday at about 07.45 Moscow time on Lenin Street. 
«The driver of a Freightliner truck lost control and collided with a Gazelle cargo truck, after which the Freightliner crashed into a store building. From his injuries The driver died at the scene of the accident. The Gazelle driver was hospitalized with injuries in the Zheleznovodsk hospital,» the department informs on its Telegram channel.
The mayor of Zheleznovodsk Evgeny Bakulin noted in his Telegram channel that the accident occurred on the Chapaevsky Circle. “A truck loaded with timber was going down Lenin Street from the square; on the way down, its brakes failed and it hit a milk tanker,” Bakulin wrote.
Currently, traffic police officers are establishing the causes of the incident and conducting an investigation.
