The model has been transformed both outside and inside. In addition, the list of equipment has been significantly expanded. Sales will start soon.
The Brazilian division of Chevrolet announced the restyled Spin compact van at the beginning of this year, but now such a car has been completely declassified. Let us remind you that the three-row model has been produced in Brazil since 2012; it is a close relative of the Chevrolet Cobalt sedan, which is well known to Russians (we also sold the four-door under the Ravon brand). The previous full restyling was carried out in 2018. By the way, the brand itself considers the Spin a crossover, but the car still belongs to the MPV segment.
Pre-reform and updated Chevrolet Spin, Premier version
The Van gained more impressive bumpers, a new radiator grille and hood. The headlights and taillights have also been replaced, and, according to current fashion, the LED headlights are now separated, albeit not completely. A separate cross-version of Activ has been retired: the unpainted plastic body kit and protective lining on the doors have gone to the top-end Spin Premier (it is captured in company photos).

The interior has been redesigned on an equally large scale, with a different front panel, steering wheel, climate control unit and door cards (they now have niches in which you can put, for example, a telephone). Plus the seats were replaced. The Chevrolet Spin also received a virtual tidy (8 inches), to which an 11-inch screen of the new multimedia system was installed. From now on, the Spin already has six airbags in its database. The model also has a rear view camera, cruise control, auto braking and blind spot monitoring systems — the pre-reform van only has a camera of the above. As before, the Chevrolet Spin is available in five- or seven-seat versions.

The suspension and steering have been reconfigured. But they didn’t change the engine, except that it now complies with current economic standards: the Spin is equipped with a 1.8 four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which traditionally for Brazil is “powered” by both gasoline (106 hp) and ethanol (111 hp). The engine is paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive only.

The transformed Chevrolet Spin will go on sale in the near future, there are no prices yet. A pre-styling compact van today costs from 106,670 Brazilian reais, which is equivalent to approximately 1,957,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
