The investigation found that the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall headed by Shamsidin Fariduni. Curators contacted him while he was in Turkey, the SHOT telegram channel reported.

According to the source, Fariduni arrived in Russia on March 4. He was the recipient of all instructions, briefed the rest of the terrorists, and also prepared the attack plan.  Before planning the crime, the terrorists did not know each other. They all lived in different places.

During the interrogation, Fariduni stated that they promised to pay him half a million rubles for the terrorist attack. Subsequently, the money was divided among the four defendants in the case. During his arrest, Fariduni was confused in his testimony. First he reported payments of a million rubles, and then 500 thousand. As a result, the terrorists received an advance payment of 250 thousand rubles from the curator.

Earlier it became known that Fariduni came to Crocus. March 7. It was taken by a local photographer. In total, the criminal visited the concert venue at least five times before the terrorist attack.
