MOSCOW, March 28 Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova, during a meeting of the parliamentary commission to investigate crimes against children in Kiev, spoke about an appeal to the government with a proposal to create mechanisms blocking destructive content in messengers.
““We sent an appeal to the government with a proposal to create mechanisms for blocking destructive content in the messenger,” she said.
Kuznetsova also added that in some regions children are sent messages on social networks asking them to open the gas — to provoke explosions in houses. In addition, participants in the World Youth Festival in Sochi received threats on their smartphones, and after the terrorist attack at Crocus, minors began receiving calls calling on them to “imitate terrorists,” she explained.
«Calls and messages come from the territory of Ukraine, and SBU agents use substitute smartphones. Often calls are made by Ukrainian children recruited by the SBU, who are specially tracked down from among disadvantaged families or orphans. We have received information about attempts to recruit children in 19 regions of the Russian Federation,” said the Vice Speaker of the State Duma.
Kuznetsova concluded that the parliamentary commission investigating crimes against children in Kyiv supports the recognition of the SBU as a terrorist organization. -0-
